About Josh Pereira
Mr. Pereira is a distinguished martial artist with a 2nd degree black belt (Expert Level 2) in Krav Maga and a 1st degree black belt (Shodan) in Konanryu Karate/Tode. He spearheads Krav Maga training sessions in Salem, Massachusetts, and serves as the principal student under Joseph Estee, aiding in instruction across the Northeastern United States.

Holding a 2nd degree black belt (Expert Level 2) in Krav Maga, Mr. Pereira's teaching qualifications are endorsed by Krav Maga: Ne'emanei Imi. A third-generation practitioner, he has honed his skills under master instructors who were pupils of James Keenan, a key figure in the evolution of Krav Maga. Additionally, Mr. Pereira has had the privilege of training directly under grandmaster James Keenan, a direct student of Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld. His Krav Maga training commenced in 2007.
Mr. Pereira offers Krav Maga instruction in both Salem, Massachusetts, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Holding a Shodan (1st degree black belt), Mr. Pereira has been trained by instructors directly descending from the style's lineage within the Nippon Kobudo Rengokai.
